Meet Your TeacherHello, This is my eighth year in education, and forth year teaching at Willingboro High School. Prior to my career in Willingboro I taught 6th grade Social Studies in Pemberton Township. I have always been fascinated by history, and the intricate details that have shaped our world today. This year, I hope to continue to infuse technology into my teaching and make my classroom a digital learning environment. On a personal note, I have been married to my beautiful wife Nicole for five years, and we have 2 boys - Caden and Colton. As a teacher, I am always pushing my students to reach their fullest potential. The high school years are a pivotal time for your child's career and college readiness, and as their teacher it is my goal to establish a strong academic foundation for them to grow on. This year will be challenging and productive with a positive attitude and effort from all stakeholders. As the parent, being involved in your child's education is an important investment for their future. Sincerely, - Dennis Land, M.Ed "There are only two things you can control in this world, your attitude and your effort." |

Hobbies |
Outside of school I am engaged in numerous hobbies and sports. I have played soccer my entire life at the competitive level and continue to do so in a men's summer league. I am addicted to the outdoors - hiking, fishing, and hunting. A few summers ago I was fortunate enough to check off a bucket list trip and traveled to South Africa for my first safari. Other interests of mine include photography, antiques, and traveling. Hopefully I will make it to Alaska in the next couple of years. Last, but not least, I just moved during Covid 19 and enjoy working on updating the new house and landscape.
